Teacher’s Side Hustle Brings in $10K Each Month Working from Home

In the world of side hustles, Becky Powell, a 41-year-old kindergarten teacher, stands out with her unique venture.

What started as a creative project during her maternity leave has now blossomed into a significant income source, earning her $10,400 a month.

Becky began by crafting and selling educational worksheets on Teachers Pay Teachers, a platform dedicated to educational resources. Her shop, named Sight Word Activities, specializes in literacy materials for young learners.

While it began as a small venture, it quickly grew, helping pay off household bills and even student loans.

Together with her husband Jerome, who manages his own online store, Editable Activities, the Powells have transformed this endeavor into a six-figure income. Becky’s store alone generated a whopping $125,500 last year.

What’s remarkable is the lasting value of her work. Resources she created years ago continue to generate a substantial passive income, underscoring the sustainable nature of her business model.
